Applicants from Sri Lanka need Biometrics?

Hello everyone, I'm an applicant from Sri Lanka and have submitted my PR application through express entry and my AOR is in November. There are no updates to it yet.
If I go to this link here :
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp

I see that all applicants from Sri Lanka are required to submit biometrics when submitting PR applications. I never got a request to submit biometrics while I was submitting my profile but now I'm wondering if I should have done it upfront.
My rofile currently says
Biometrics : We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.

Does anyone know if it's required to submit biometrics with the PR application?

You'll get a request for biometrics on the day you get medicals passed, or a within a few weeks after that. It will stay the same status until you get the request.
You couldn't have given them upfront, as you need to wait for instruction letter.

Ohh okay, thank you very much for letting me know that. I was quite worried I didn't submit it upfront.
