my application is in HR Manager and the file reached there in July 8th, yes police report included of nepal and yet to submit the police clearance report of india.. how abt u?

i am getting the IELTS and WES reports in 10 days time and will be sending my applicaiton in the mid of November. i have sent u a PM. i am from nepal and working in India. need some advise on the police certificate part.

Police clearance certificate is not a problem for u. U can apply for it in person at ranipokhari or naxal police headquarter. if u can't come they ve the provision that a friend or relative can apply for u n get it done. Go to the Nepal police website n download the form stating that u r outside the country n sign it with 2 recent photos n supporting documents as ur nagarikta n ur current passport photocopy n send that to someone who is now in Kathmandu. It takes only 2-4 working days to get it done

How about getting certificate from India? How difficult is it for us. Did u get one.

i have lived in nepal and India both. so i believe i need to make police certificates from both the countries. also in India i have lived in different cities i believe i need to make police certificate form each of the indian cities i have lived?

No, one certificate for one country.

For Nepal u don't ve to b present there in person to get the police clearance letter but for India if u ve lived in different cities n state it ld b harder for u to hopp around to get the letters so get the letter from ur respective landlords or universities hostels that u ve lived ther in clearly stating ur house numbers n apply for it through Indian embassy of Kathmandu u ll get the police clearence within a week. It's not possible I suppose to get it so easily from India however there might b some other processes as well that I don't know rather u can contact Nepalese embassy at barakhamba road newdelhi they might suggest u if there is other way round.

alright great thanks. i will apply for a certificate from indian embassy in Nepal then. it will be easier that way i believe. now the problem is getting the letters from hostel and landlords. i will see to that. will be coming to nepal in december and will apply that time for Nepali police certificate and from indian embassy as well.

i vent got my police report from india.... as they need the Application number of the CIC to issue the police report...they wanted to know the purpose of the report.... and the report will be directly summoned to CIC thus need a file no to apply for that...my documents r all ready just waiting for the file no from CIC to complete that process

u mean the police report will be directly sent to CIC office in New Delhi with your CIC app number? and i believe you have stayed in just one city in India is it?

I think they ll give me the report n I ve to mail to NDVO later but that would b saluted to CIC. ... I ve lived in 2 states of India
