Apostile or notirize the Police certificates from other countries

Hello forum,

I am currently live in the US as a foreign student, and collecting my documents for family class. All docs are ready except the police certificates. I have requested FBI and Virginia State Police Certificates, (FBI- 17 June, and State- 12 July), but have not got them. But I already got my Police certificate from my country (Azerbaijan) and been notary translated from Azerbaijani into English in my country.
Now I would like to be informed that should this police certificate and further police certificates from FBI and Virginia State Police need to be Apostle, specially should the certificate from my country be apostle by the consulate of my country in the US, or the Original one and notary translated are good for the immigration application ??

BTW, when can I get FBI and Virginia State Police Certificates ?

The certs are fine as they are.If translated notorize them.Yor FBI and State nobody knows when they will come,you could send in the app and include a letter stating that as soon as you recieve them you will forward them to the visa office,they expire after three months in most places .The one you have may expire if you wait too long.
