Hi
Please check my other posts about apartments in Brampton. I am living in Brampton for past 5 year. When are you landing.
Unless you are already here, you can not sign a lease. You must have ids before a landlord will rent it to you. Also landlord may ask for employment proof and credit history too.
Some extended stay accommodation could be good initially.

Thanks

That's not true. You can sign a lease without being already in Canada. You can use your passports as ids.

Indeed - it's at the discretion of the landlord.

So how can you rent if you don't have any besides ID's
You can sign the lease to start from the date you arrive. It is at the discretion of landlord/realtor but having an employment offer or your national credit score can persuade them.

On the other hand, if you are having trouble doing that, you can easily find a rental for first few weeks or a month and take that time to find the right place for you once here.
