The first document received from canadian immigration is AOR, right ?

Any idea on average how much time it takes to get AOR after your application is delivered to citizenship and immigration canda?

Yes it is normally AOR is most of the cases. If they need any further info which is missing like bio data form etc., they will ask for it.

Can someone tell how long does it generally takes to hear any sort of response (confirmation that your application has been received) from canadian immigration office, after your application is delivered to them?

or does one has to solely rely on the confimration of delivery from the courier services used to send the application?

its 2-3 months from what ive read around here!

Yep, for me it was 3 months until first communication from their side.
