AOR from local visa office

Hello all
I received new AOR from the local visa office. I would like to ask if they send this AOR after the eligibility review or brfore it??
Another point, I can not access to check my status with the new AOR number, while the old one is still working. Any recomendation.

Not sure where you are situated but if you are in the US, it could be that the letter reached you before the system was updated (only a small chance).

AOR in Delhi etc seems to be with the medical request and doesn't have a new AOR number.

AOR from Buffalo is just a receipt to say they received it and seems to have a new AOR number and therefore no eligibility review.

According to the OP6 documnet, the AOR from the visa office only shows completeness of your application kit. Eligibility review takes place after this and if you are found eligible you will be placed into processing.

Do you mean that if full application is not complete the local visa office will not send you an AOR letter?

I got my AOR from my local visa office and I used to access e cas status using the file number in that letter but today it says it can't identify, do you have any idea what does this mean?

My understanding is AOR is just an acknowledgment that visa office have received your file. Now CHC,ND is sending AOR before without medicals. I sent my full application on 14th Jul and received just AOR on 27th Jul.

u r a very lucky guy man. i submitted my full app in the last week of june 09, still waiting 4 my aor.

If u still did nt got ur aor than there is a strong possibilty tht u will gt positive outcome letter with medicals. Goodluck man
