Hi everyone! I hope you guys are doing okay regarding PR process.

I have been asked criminal record check from IRCC recently and found that its very hard to contact to RCMP police station.
Some body on one of threads mentioned that we can get it done at https://commissionaires.bc.ca/fingerprinting/#pgc-8-2-0 here and they could send it to RCMP directly.
I was hoping anybody has tried and explain how it works?

I am living in Vancouver and will go to Kelowna next 7 days. If I can use that service, can I get it done at Kelowna instead of vancouver ?

Thank you so much for your time and looking for your response!!!!

For RCMP i dont think you will contact directly with them, instead you can go to third party companies which have been authorized to do this thing. The website that cic refered to u in their letter pretty much explain the procedures you will need to do i believe and Google will also tell you which places u should go to near you. U should call them to book appointment and make sure u are in the right tract. For me it took 1week for the result to send back into my mail box after i finished taking fingerprints.

Thank you so much for the explanation! I tried to call them but they never answer the phone and didn’t know what to do . The recorded voice guide me to go online but it’s only for criminal check based on name also they say I have to go to the police station where I live . Can’t I do it in the different down ? It’s so frustrating
