Anyone here ever leave Canada (american) and then turn around after a day or two and try to re-enter after their visitor visa expired in Canada with success? Just wondering our odds here..

Why would you do that?And you can go to the US turn around come back in and try.Why not just extend your visit?

He was ordered to leave Canada due to receiving his restoration of status late.

He was ordered to leave. He can't return without checking in at border patrol and they will not permit him back in. If he enters without checking in, he will be in the country illegally and instead of being ordered to leave he will be deported and banned from Canada.
