Hello Everyone.. I have been trying and trying to find an answer to this question but i am unable to do so anywhere on the internet and in this forum. The question is very specific, but in order to understand this question, one has to first know the whole picture.

Take my case for example. I have a 3 years Graduation degree and an MBA with 7.0 CGPA or division 1 grade from India. Still WES recognized my graduation as equivalent to 3 years Canadian undergrad degree; and hence my MBA was recognized to be Canadian equivalence of 4 year undergrad degree. I have clb level 9 and i don't know where to go, whom to ask or what to do in order to get my masters degree assessed as an equivalent to Canadian masters. Apparently everyone knows, that it makes one loose those important 40 CRS points, hence, sabotaging one's immigration prospects.

For the same purpose, i have two questions which i would like my fellow members to answer - if they can spare some time for it.

1) Is there anyone in this forum or group who (or your friend) has a graduation degree of 3 years, and has been recognized as canadian equivalence of bachelor's degree of 4 years? If yes then how? i have heard that MBA from premier institutes like IIM and IIT's are easily recognized in the same manner.

2) Is there any other organization like WES who might perhaps me more lenient when assessing my master's degree since i have a distinction grade or a CGPA of 7.0 in my MBA degree which is equivalent to 'A' grade in most north american universities. Please suggest if any?

Looking forward to some valuable guidance and feedback from experienced / intellectual members here in this forum.

Thanks and best regards,
Kaizad :)

I almost have the same issue. Wes access my software engineering as a 3 years degree and my masters in software project management as 4 years degree. My credit hours are good. My institution reputation is great. Any suggestions or using different service might help ? I mean doing a masters in flying colors and still not getting sufficient points, hurts.
