Hi I have a private college which accepted me until they saw my passport copy and said it’ll be difficult to get a visa for indian students so it’s better to apply for public college.. is that true?

If you want to apply for PGWP going to a public college is a much better idea. Many private colleges do not qualify.

This is a blessing in disguise, avoid private colleges.
Is this college not a DLI? That is the only reason I think they would reject an international student, only DLI institutions can be used to apply for a visa.
