Anyone still waiting Sponsor Approval from CPC-M

My common law spouse and I submitted an application to CPC-M that was received January 19, 2010. We have no e-cas information (although i hear this is common due to spelling mistakes etc.) and have not received our sponsor approval yet.

Reading many posts it seems others who have submitted in January 2010 have received the approval. Would it be because we are not married that we get pushed back? A friend also submitted his on Jaunary 12, 2010 and has not heard (ecas nor letter).

Any suggestions how to check in on it? Or am I just being impatient?

Have you tried to log on using information other than your names? If you paid online, you can use the receipt number to log on to maybe avoid a misspelling of your names.

i tried the receipt number and my name as i am the sponsor....but no luck.

The web site says they are currently processing applications received up to January 26, so you should hear something soon. http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/times/canada/process-in.asp
