Anyone Sponsoring Their Spouse who is in Iran ??

Hi,

I just sent my forms and all to the immigration office in Canada, the processing time is now at 82 days, it says calendar days, my first question is, does that mean that includes holidays and weekends as well? my second question is that has anyone gone through this process recently and gotten their letter of approval and case number before the 82 days?

I think you should join the April 2012 thread and ask them, it 's around 88 days now, they must have a spread sheet of the time schedules as well.

YOU HAVE TO BE SO PATIENT!
AND DO NOT TRY TO COUNT THE DAYS!
THE CALENDER DAYS INCLUDE THE HOLIDAYS TOO.
GETTING AN APPROVAL LETTER DEPENDS ON YOUR SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS AND AS EVERY CASE IS UNIQUE SO YOU CAN NOT COMPARE YOURS WITH OTHERS. BUT MOSTLY WE HAVE RECEIVED OUR APPROVAL LETTERS WITHIN THE ANNOUNCED TIME LINES. (FOR FIRST STAGE)

They are still working on February Applications. Guess we April Applicants will hear sometimes beginning July, mid July news. Come and join the April folks if your Application arrived in April.
