Filling in the details of any application requires the applicant to do his or her best to read and understand what the application is asking for, following the instructions, and to then provide a complete and accurate response that is not misleading . . . according to the applicant's best and honest understanding of the question and the answer.
No one in a forum like this can appropriately advise someone to do otherwise. You know your circumstances. You know where YOU really have been living. You know if you have relatives or friends in Canada (at least better than anyone else).
It does not matter what effect the information will have. What matters is that you provide complete and accurate information which is not misleading. To be clear about this, this is not merely a matter of ethics. This is also what works best most of the time.
