I'm from Edmonton, received COPR last week.

Wondering if anyone from Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary and cities along the way planning to go to the boarder?

yes me, Im planning to go to either Carway or Coutts however I gotta get my PPR first lol congratz and good luck in your landing

Stalintouch, when do you expect to get PPR and COPR?
The wait to land at canada place is too long, its 8 weeks plus. Want to see if anyone is planning to land in the next 2 weeks? Perhaps carpool there.

Its going to be quite a bit unfortunately, I'm still waiting for a FBI certificate which will I probably receive it by mid-late april and then send it to CPP-O
so its going to take some time. As far as landing at a Canada service office I read on another forum somebody called CIC and he was told that appointment is no longer necessary for landing they will have someone available every Tuesdays to deal with landings but dont quote me on that take it with a large grain of salt

I did call The CIC Number on the COPR. That's not what the lady said. She said I have to make an appointment. If I don't want to wait, I will have to go to the boarder.
