Anyone have a government source for exactly how many days is meant by "6 months" for visitor stays with an eTA?

The 6 months allowed by an eTA?

Specifically an eTA as opposed to the time allowed after a land entry.

It seems it's always listed as "6 months" by the government which seems vague.
