I am having a very hard time trying to withdraw my refugee application. I contacted IRB regarding withdrawing the refugee application, they were very helpful and said it doesn't take much time to be processed through the IRB but the problem is that they found out they don't have my file because I don't have the Brown paper yet and didn't attend my hearing yet. So they suggested me to withdraw my application through CBSA. I am really confused, I contacted CBSA several times but no clear answers, even when I asked about when I can get my passport back, they told me it is a long process.
Any one here has withdrawn his/her refugee claim before attending the hearing! please share your experience.
