I have same issue i worked full time got paid but without permit, and of coz i can not show it now since if i do show it, it means i did something INVALID / ILLEGAL without permit and my employers never checked it.
Hi, just be cautious in this respect. If you were issued a T4 when you worked for this organization you must report it in your Tax Return. During the processing of your application, CIC reserves the right to talk to other government departments about your activities in Canada.
To check your Canadian work history they may verify what you have reported in your EE profile to the T4 information reported in your Canadian tax return. Not saying they will bit be prepared to answer questions just in case.
Honestly our issues are not the same, as you are saying you worked illegally whereas I was authorized to work, so a vast difference in that.intensecool said:To my knowledge, if someone employs you without checking a valid permit is also illegal and you should not claim it if you dont want to show that you did something without permits.

You can work full time with an Off Campus work permit, following the completion of your studies. The work experience gained between completing studies and receiving your PGWP can/will be counted towards your CEC qualifying work experience, provided that you had fulfilled all the requirements for completing your Degree/Diploma.dreamca said:Honestly our issues are not the same, as you are saying you worked illegally whereas I was authorized to work, so a vast difference in that.
My question was something different but never mind.
You applied for PR under CEC? Did you get it?Big_Yute said:You can work full time with an Off Campus work permit, following the completion of your studies. I worked for close to 3 months on Off-Campus work permit prior to applying and receiving my PGWP. I used that work experience as part of my 1 year CEC qualifying experience.
I qualified for both CEC and FSW, but CIC in their profound wisdom invited me under FSW. I know of people who got PR under CEC category with 3 months experience on Off Campus work permit, while awaiting their PGWPdreamca said:You applied for PR under CEC? Did you get it?
