Anyone been getting PR visas lately?

I was snooping on the skilled worker and student threads and in spite of the strike, apparently people have been receiving acceptances/rejections lately. However, no one on this forum has posted an acceptance/rejection story in the past couple of months. Has anyone been hearing ANYTHING from VO regarding PR applications???

After e-mailing my MP last month, my ecas magicly changed to 'in process'! However, they have been holding my wife's passport since March.

I'm wondering if my wife applied to work at a chicken farm or an RBC call centre or a Chinese mining company in northern Alberta, she would've received her visa by now!

Sounds like you're looking in the wrong threads. Yes - have certainly been approved over the last few months - there are many examples. If you look at the Ottawa thread alone, writetosfa got CORP today and Lkrammy thinks her husband received his CORP today as well. keesio got CORP yesterday. So great news for all of them.

People don't normally start new threads when they're approved. They typically announce their approval in the thread specific to their visa office / application date.

I've only been waiting for 9 months, which is not too long for some, but the anticipation is maddening! ???
