Anyone applied Inland for sponsorship on January 2013?

Hi Everyone,

I am fairly new to this Forum, but have noticed several posts of people that create their groups or threads depending on the dates or location where they have applied. So I wonder if there is anyone out there that may have applied on January 2013, and Inbound (I noticed most groups are Outland). Would love to keep in touch with you and see how your process is going!

I should also start by telling you about my "case":

I am a Canadian citizen, I am the sponsor, and I am sponsoring my husband, who is from Mexico (I was born and raised there too).

He came to Canada last September (under a visitor visa) and on January of 2013, we submitted our application. We got the Letter of Acknowledgement email on February 3rd, but the email said they received the documents on January 7th, 2013. We now have an application number and I guess I can say that the waiting game has begun. We are trying to stay optimistic about the process but it can get frustrating at times (specially for him since he isn´t working and is used to being busy all the time).

Anyway, I hope more people can join this thread and we can share our stories, and why not, find some much needed support during this process! all the best to everyone!!

Actually there is a thread titled INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013 that has quite a few posts. I am also on it, although I filed in Dec. 2012. I will post on it so you can see it on page one.
