Anybody who applied as a student to Canada from UAE

If you have applied as a student to Canada and have received/ rejected(hopefully not) student visa from the UAE, please share the experience and the process from the time you applied to the embassy

Hey... I applied online on 30th Jan and the application was probably forwarded to the UAE embassy. I emailed them to enquire if my application was under review in Canada or in UAE - the response I received indicates that it is being processed in UAE. Have not heard from them yet...not even regarding the medical. I'm assuming they take minimum 4-6 weeks to process

The CIC website says both Qatar and UAE have the same processing office (London). The website says medical required for Qatar but not for UAE (funny but its mentioned on the website)

Nadia I think you are getting worried to much... I suggest just relax.. because you submt your case on 18th feb.. just 9 days before and minimum time which shows through thread here a guy get medical request after 15-18 days this is the minimum time i saw... just let the normal time pass and then u can get worried about it...... atleast let 2-3 week pass!11

Just relax and leave it on time!!! Your intake is in september? What is ur nationality? Indian or Pak??

Nadia it says that the processing time is 7 weeks from UAE (given all ur papers are in order) and if there is no medical required for us then u will hear from them maybe 5 - 6 weeks from your application date....so dont worry dear..you shall be fine

Hi Crypticlancer,

Which course and university you apply?? did u get acceptence letter and already apply for visa??!
We need to fill both Study permit form and TRV also togather other then Family information form? and fees payment is for Study permit which is $125.. What do u say is it ok to get TRV multipal entry visa for spouse? there can be any emergency ack home country or it can put them in doubt why they need multiplal entry??

Im from Pak
