Anybody received letter of interest, Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP)

Hi everyone,

Hope all is going well. I have a quick question, recently I received letter of interest from Ontario Immigration Nominee Program that they would like to consider me for PNP. Now I am confused to qualify for this do i still need a job offer??? Coz in form as well this question is there. whereas I do not have any job offer yet.

Your advise would be highly valuable as I am tearing my hair apart after reading so many threads but still not getting any clear answers.

No, you don't need a job offer for this.

Thanks so much for the info. And sorry for late reply. However I have one more query. I did my Bachelors from India and Masters from UK. While filling the form it has asked to submit true copy of the academic record. Currently I stay in U.A.E so now how to make a true copy of my academic record.

Will notary from U.A.E would be accepted??

You can check with your Universities and ask them if they'll send you transcripts through mail or check with your senior batch guys in college;some of them might know something about this.

I don't think notarized copies will work.

Hi VJ,

In my case, I have few friends there in Ontario, I showed PR card, Lease agreement and College Degree of my friend showing we both studied together.

You don't necessarily need ties. You just have to intend to stay in Ontario and give them good reasons as to why you chose Ontario. If ties were mandatory, they would not send out an invite to you and me since we do not have any ties.
