Anybody applied for citizenship with changed rule of 3 out of 5 years

Hi,

I came to Canada in Sep 2014 and my 3 years will be over in next few days. Can I apply for citizenship as the rule has changed back to 3 years few months back, has anybody applied with the revised rule..., or not yet.

Kindly advise...

Nobody has applied under the 3/5 rule since it is not in effect yet. Right now it's 4/6 rule. 3/5 won't come into effect until sometime this fall. Until then, hold your horses and wait.

It is just unbelievable how difficult it is to google something or simply visit the CIC website to get the fact straight ....

Maybe there are some daredevils that are trying to apply right now.. We can't know everything...
