hi DRSPECIALIST,
thnks for sharing.

i have sent my initial application under new rule...so, i sent my initial application to CIU, Sydney, NS in Aug,09 & got AOR+120 day request in Sep, 09.

i am from Bangladesh. so, same like u i am waiting for some documents from my home country......

as per ur situation, i think u should rather take IELTS.

as per points calculation, u can ask me & i will try my best to be as clear as i can....

btw, have u got ur police certificate from UK, yet?

Re: Anybody about to submit the 120 Days' Documents to London---we could share i

Hello Guys,

I too got my AOR in Sep '09. I am preparing documents for the 120 days submission. I lived in UK, and yet to apply for PCC. Please guide me on applying for PCC in Norfolk County.

Can you guys let me know abt settlement funds. Do we need to have funds from 3 months in my account.
I am planning to sell a property to show the funds for Canadian embassy.
I am confused with regard to Funds, please help me on this. :(

thanks
Pavan.

Re: Anybody about to submit the 120 Days' Documents to London---we could share i

dear PAVAN,

do u currently live in UK?
to obtain a PCC only takes 2 days in UK for £70 & 10 days for £35. all the info u can find in the following lnk:
www.acpo.police.uk/certificates.asp

as far as i know (plz note that i am just a mere reder of CIC guideline & not an expert), as long as u can prove that u have eraned the cash/ money with appropraite docs & it's nottied up with any loan or not under anyone's name (i.e. unencumbered as CIC put it) ,it is always accepted.

as for how many months' statement we need to show, i am not sure..........i hope somebody will be kind enough to answer this question for us.

Dear shibleebd
Thanks for your reply, I did not apply yet for the police certificates from the UK, as I thought it shoud be the last thing before I submit the whole documents (true or wrong?!) or i can do it anytime within the 120 days period started already on August the 17th?!.
Regarding the points calculations:
  • My profession is within the 38 NOC list (Physiotherapist).

    My age is 34 now.

I have master degree and part of PhD which has not been finished yet with over 24 years of Education now.

work experince between Egypt and UK for about 9 years.

My wife got bacheolar degree with 16 years of Education.
I have finished my professional registratinon in Canada and is about to get the License there, but it is quiet difficult to get a job offer there in this short period.
No relatives in Canada at all.

So I do not know how many points on IELTS I will be in need to qualify for the 67 points.
Thanks in advance
