Any Success for FSW folks with Bridge Open Work Permit ??

Hello Everyone,

I have seen couple of posts about Bridge Open Work Permit and I saw some members of this forum (CEC) have successfully got a Bridge Open Work Permit based on the AOR. I would really like to see if anybody from the FSW stream actually got a BWOP based on the AOR keeping in mind that the extension criteria for FSW is pretty strict than the CEC stream.

I had submitted my application on April 22 and got the AOR on the same day as well, Currently I have 3 lines in my ECAS (application submitted, started working and latest is the medicals passed). My work permit expires in next 3 days and i am going to apply for a paper application based on that AOR anyways as that is the only option i have right now to be able to keep working while waiting for a decision on my work permit and the EE PR as well.

Am I missing any option or any feedback about what i am doing - if it is correct or not, would be highly appreciated.

I submitted my application on March 10 for a BOWP. I'm in FSW. I'm still waiting for an answer, although it looks like it will be this week or next one the latest. My work permit expires on Friday so I'll be in implied status since friday.

Could you share your timelines in respect to Express Entry Status(if you don't mind) and do you think i am going in the right direction by filing a paper application since I only have 3 days left on my permit and CIC is processing EE slowly.

I am planning on submitting a BWOP paper application tomorrow !!
