hi there.
my name is boris im a tattoo artist.i was wondering if there is any other way to immigrate, except 4 or 5 options that Canadian government is offering.
for example my NOC code is 6482,i dont fall into 0,a or b groups.
this is my third year in Canada as a foreign worker,i pay taxes, insurance have everything except the right to immigrate.
is there any other way to do it?
thanx in advance.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
You have very few immigration options when you are doing a C skill level job. BC and AB have a handful of C and D skill options in their PNP's but I don't think tattoo artist is one of them. Basically the options you are left with are try to get your work permit upgraded to a skilled position, try to get another job in a skilled position, marry a Canadian, apply for FSW if you have enough points (need to have at least one year of skilled work experience somewhere). I think that is pretty much it.

Looking at http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2006/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=artist you can see that pretty much every artist except a tattoo artist is considered skilled. Not really fair is it. At the same time, somebody who rises to the high level of McDonalds shift manager is considered skilled.
