if you have one year work experience in alberta as a cook you can apply to the AINP under the alberta work experience category but your application must be received at their office in edmonton by november 28th.
its a pilot project by alberta and the requirements are very easy but you have to act fast.

good luck :)

I would suggest, if I were in your shoes, I would do it and submit it on the 27th of November, 2013. There will be no harm if you apply.... Go for it!!! Make this as your Plan A....

After that....Plan B.... try the AINP Strategic Recruitment Stream too, under Compulsory and Optional Trades... I believe in terms of work experience, you are already qualified to apply for it....

Note: "Last 26 of September, I applied for the AINP-AWE. I got the nomination certificate thru mail 27th of October, 2013. But at the same time, I have sent an application for CEC and they received it on the 25th of October, 2013."

I am just trying to say that I have tried both so that I will have a Plan A and Plan B at hand. My plan C is thru federal with arrange employment... But I think as far as what I have right now, Plan A and B would be enough for me right now.

I hope this helps....
