Otherwise, just write it using the default font. They receive thousands of applications in the same format so there's no reason to think it needs to be in bold.

I'm guessing you are completing this form as a PDF? Using Adobe? You can only do it if the PDF is Rich Text enabled. If it isn't, then you can't change it.

The form is likely to be locked to prevent that.

Theres no reason to complete it in bold.

If you really want to, print it out and complete it in pen.
