You can check the Québec Experience Program (PEQ) on mifi.gouv.qc.ca. The program criteria have changed recently.

Quebec immigration is a no go if you are an English speaker. If you wanna get PR via Express Entry, move out of Quebec or submit strong intention to move out of Quebec while submitting the application.

IMO lease agreement and job search in Ontario are the best proofs.

How are you justifying the job search? Detailed profile on Job Bank?
Hey Narayan ,

Are you in same boat ? are you working from Montreal ? My case is different my employer office is in Toronto but my work location is in Montreal on deputation

Contacting potential employers, justifying that future prospects in Quebec for the job role is nil, attending interviews in Ontario, spouse's job difficulties due to French if you are married etc.

Actually, my case is a bit different. My employer is based in Montreal. However, I stay in Ottawa (on a long-term lease in my name) and I work remotely from home. I am actively looking for jobs in Ottawa and making good use of the Job Bank profile (since around a couple of months before submitting my EE profile). I have had friends who have been in similar situations, and their PR got approved.

It's best to have a spouse who doesn't speak French. In my case, I am single and French is almost mandatory for my occupation (which my employer has overlooked as of now). I don't speak a word in French (even if I do speak greeting lines, I have never taken French classes, went to Anglophone universities, which keeps a clean record).

I know one person got PR through FSW while staying in Quebec. He submitted a LOE stating the reason why he wouldn't stay in Quebec after becoming PR, what plan he had to settle down in another province but Quebec, his ties to the province where he planned to move to. But this was years ago, and the approval was case by case, I believe. I have read many refusal cases on this forum on the basis of living in Quebec while applying through Express Entry.

Thanks Vinami for your response could we put reason as we applied for Arrima (Quebec skilled worker ) and our profile expired after having sufficient points and we were not invited and again i have created a new profile in arrima and Seems like they are not giving perfence to no french candidate or QSW stream as there are only 2k invites sent in this stream .
