any one from Pakistan just got driving lic ???

hi.. as i told earlier we just landed in calgary last week ,, i tried to apply for driving lic and went to registery with my old lic they asked me to sent my old lic to vancouer in Pak consulate for varification,,,

one of my friend has sent his lic to Pak consulate and now after 2 and half months nothing has come yet when ever he calls they says no reply from pakistan so pl can any one help what is best way to do it faster ????
