Has anyone heard a result from a paper application for WP applied In Feb 2015 I see Facebook says : The following but is this online applications or paper or does it make a difference.




Visa Section: Weekly Update April 17, 2015

The visa section is currently processing applications received via the Visa Application Centre on the following dates:

Temporary Resident Visa (Visitor Visa): April 9, 2015

Work Permit: February 24, 2015

The visa section is currently processing Temporary Resident Permit & Rehabilitation applications* for business travellers during the following month: February 2015

*can only be submitted by Mail

Some applications take longer to process for various reasons. For further details see our website.

It says applications received via the VAC which makes them paper application. I wouldn't worry about it especially if you are still within or just about at the end of the processing times. You'll probably hear something in the coming week.

Thanks for your reply. Its my girlfriends application and she is freaking out because she is sitting and not working for so long. She has LMIA in her name so I tell her not to worry but she still worries.

I supose no news is good news at this stage.

If I remember correctly, the application was approved the week after they started the thread.
