Any negative impact on Spousal Sponsorship applications due to Covid 19?

I couriered my fully complete filled out spousal sponsorship application for my spouse on March 26, 2020. According to the Canada Post tracker it got picked up at the location on March 30, 2020. I have heard that usually the IRC sends a responds where they confirm receiving your sponsorship application in approximately 90 days. It is now June 21, 2020 and still no email, phone call or letter from the authorities, what recourse do i have and what can i do in this scenario?

Is it possible that the spousal sponsorship applications are now going to be delayed for a much longer time because of the Covid 19 epidemic?

Yes unfortunately, some applicants from end of February are yet to receive their AOR’s . Be strong and wait for it
