Any method to get an update on USA PCC?

Hi All,

I applied for my USA PCC and fedex status shows it was delivered to FBI office 3 weeks back. Can anyone tell me is there a way to get an update on the status? Any number to call or any link?

Would appreciate any help!

You can call the number that was on the form you sent (or on the website). They will only be able to give you a status on the application once it's in their system, which is 9 weeks after they receive the envelope. Right now, they will just be able to tell you the date the envelopes that are being opened now were received.

Similar situation here, been about 2 weeks since delivery. I sent a credit card form so I'm keeping an eye out for when it gets charged. Please keep us informed with your status on this thread. Best wishes to you.

RV_13, any updates on the FBI report? Just bumping this thread in case anyone in a similar boat has anything to share re: the current timeline.

My Packet reached on 14th Oct but no CC charged yet. I will try to find the number you mentioned
and try to call them next week for any updates. At least I should get info about which packets are being opened
at the moment.

Hi mancunian, please give us an update after you call. I would have called them myself but am not in the U.S. anymore. Let's find out which packets they're processing right now.

Hi, my application reached FBI office on 31 August 2015 and I just got my CC charged 3 days ago. I just called them again and they said they just sent the report to my address in the US. If you have a relative in US then you should ask FBI to send it to a US address. It is much faster... Thats what FBI told me too. Otherwise it may take another 2-3 weeks for the snail mail to reach you.

There is a Form called 'Address change request' on the FBI website. You can fax or email them. When I emailed them, there was a reply saying that they will do it.

May I ask a question? Is this 'Address change request' only for applications that have been opened? My package arrived at FBI at the beginning of November and right now, my understanding is that it has not been opened yet and there is no information regarding my application in their system. So, if I submit this 'Address change request' now, would they be able to connect it to my file later, when they do come to it?

I have a US address forwarding service, so I might be able to request that they send the report there (and the forwarding service can Fedex it to me – faster and safer that way, I suppose).

My situation is similar too. My package arrived on the 3rd of November. So, all our applications will be processed at around the same time, I suppose. We should keep each other updated. Would anyone be interested in creating a Whatsapp group for this?

Exactly in the same boat... hopefully its not a Titanic.

My application reached them on 9th of September but my CC has not been charged yet.

I will be calling them again for an update on Monday , and will keep the group posted on any updates on the processing times.
