I have applied PR under sponsorship program, is anyone had luck of getting Vist visa for their wife , I am hearing lot of bad news regarding rejections,
If someone is successful please let me know when to drop the visit visa application??
If you have yet to apply/have just applied, your chances of getting a TRV are very close to 0.
My MP's office did tell me that once eligibility has passed, your odds of getting a TRV issued go up quite a bit, as long as you say directly that you want a TRV for your spouse so that they can come to Canada and try to get settled, and that you will leave when the visa runs out if your application is unsuccessful. You would also have to leave if you were called for an interview.
Still, it's probably more likely than not that you application for a TRV will get denied. Also, more often than not, eligibility seems to be completed relatively shortly before PPR, so in some cases, you'd have your CoPR faster than a TRV.
