If you have yet to apply/have just applied, your chances of getting a TRV are very close to 0.

My MP's office did tell me that once eligibility has passed, your odds of getting a TRV issued go up quite a bit, as long as you say directly that you want a TRV for your spouse so that they can come to Canada and try to get settled, and that you will leave when the visa runs out if your application is unsuccessful. You would also have to leave if you were called for an interview.

Still, it's probably more likely than not that you application for a TRV will get denied. Also, more often than not, eligibility seems to be completed relatively shortly before PPR, so in some cases, you'd have your CoPR faster than a TRV.

Zuky I need some help from you regarding a mistake that I made few days back and I'd be highly thankful to you if you could help me out please. I applied in October 2017 and everything seems to be going fine as they asked for the marriage photos and stuff back in January. I haven't heard anything as yet from their side but as they say no news is good news so lets hope for it. I was trying to check the status of my spouse's file through ECAS and as I was trying to log in I mistakenly hit the wrong link and I went on to change the home address and the mailing address on there. I changed her home address to mine which is in Canada and the address that we had on file of her was from Pakistan. To complicate the problem even more I changed the mailing address too. So is there a way that it could be changed to old home address which is in Pakistan and the mailing address too with it? I am already stressed out about it please let me know what to do?

Don't worry! I don't think that is a particularly big deal, as long as you change it back as quickly as possible. They always say that if your mailing address has changed, you have to let them know. If your file is already overseas, I'd suggest using the webform for your specific VO. You could also just email them. All you have to do is say that you accidentally changed the information, that you'd like to revert it, and give the proper information.

Alternatively, can you not just change it back the same way you changed it accidentally?

Neither me nor the PA ever had to change addresses with IRCC, so I'm not the best person to ask, but that's what I would do!

Good luck!
