You need to explain why u overstayed. May be what u think was overstayed may turned out to be implied status or restoration period

Provided you fully declare the overstay, it is not a reason for refusal.

No one can tell you why you overstayed...

The 90 days that people refer to as the "restoration period" does not grant any form of status. The person is still here illegally until a Restoration app is actually approved.
