Hello all,
I'm aware that the work experience gained while you're a full-time student doesn't count towards the minimum requirement for the Canadian Experience Class program, but I've been curious to know whether there's any possibility that being a full-time skilled worker as of now can help me immigrate once I graduate.
I'm living in BC and I'm currently on my second year of studies in a DLI, having accumulated about 400 hours of skilled work experience so far while being a full-time student. Ever since they lifted the 20 hour work week cap for international students, I've been fortunate enough to balance my studies and a nine-to-five job as an Admin Assistant, so if all goes well I should have accumulated about 1,800 hours of skilled work in Canada by the time I graduate & change my status to worker. Will these hours do me any good in terms of immigration or not at all?
