any ideas??

hi guys, my application has been in process since June 2 2011 for my husband (i'm the sponsor). We are applying through the Tel Aviv office and their average time is 8 months. The last thing we heard from them was a letter on Oct 31 2011 stating that he is going to need an interview and the average time will be 4-6 months. I had contacted my MP at that time and she found out that it's actually a security interview (eventhough he has a perfectly clean record and never live in anyother country). I went to visit him this February (2nd trip there since our 1.5 yrs of marriage) and i spent three months there and got pregnant. I went to visit the embassy when I was there (in march) and the lady that I met explained that because my husband was palestinian they would have to have his interview in palestine and not israel (makes sense since he can't get into israel). She then said that his interview will probably be in May since there are so many holidays in April. She also said that they will not go to the palestine (45 min drive) unless they have enough people to meet with (so basically they don't want to make the trip for one person). I came back to canada mid May with still no interview date in sight, (i was lucky that my work gave me a 3 month leave of absense). I contacted my MP again when I got back for an update, and she got back to me saying that they don't have a date yet and when they do they will let us know. It's been 7.5 months since we've been waiting for this interview. My due date is Nov 28, and I really want him to be here for the birth of our first baby. If he doesn't come by then I will have to fly to him with a 2 month old baby (that's like 15hr plane ride) because obviously I can't stay away longer (i will be on maternity leave for one yr) and I really don't want to do that, but i love my husband and I can't stay away longer than that.

I also sent in the form for the CAIPS. I sent them out back in the end of Dec. They charged my credit card in March and now we are in June and I have heard nothing from them. I don't know what else I can do to expidite this process.

I'm sorry for this long post, but i'm really stressed out and I any ideas would be helpful.

Send for you're GCMS notes again, do it online, pay $5 fill out the forms, you need your husband's signature...just scan the forms to them and in 30 days they send you the notes in PDF

Seems like there is nothing you can do unless you go back to your MP and explain your story, maybe they will show compassion n help you out more.
