Good day Everyone, newly joined the group. Please i need help with my Express Entry Application. I have a Masters degree and 4-5 yrs work experience in IT. I’m 33yrs, i have a CLB 8 in IELTS. Wrote ielts 6 times. L-7.5 R-8.0 W-6.0 S-8.0 . Also L-7.5 R-7.0 W-6.5 S-7.0. CRS score 384 but with CLB9; L-8 R-7 W-7 S-7 i will have 448 CRS which is enough to get an ITA. My major problem is the listening i keep getting 7.5 but i need an 8. I’m also confused with a Masters degree, age and Ielts score should my CRS be 384. Kindly advise if you have a suggestion or an eligible PNP stream i can apply to. Thanks all

You need to analyze your mistakes in listening. Are there a particular kind of questions which are wrong every time? Difficult to give any advice without knowing what your mistakes are.
Are you completely missing the answer while listening? Or are you confused between two answers?
Analyze your mistakes a little bit and then come back and may be people can help you.
Thank you for the timely response. The multiple option questions where you have 2-3 speakers and you need to choose one or two answers. Sometimes I’m confused between the answers, sometimes get lost while trying to match the questions to the answers because all answer sentences are long. Thank you
When you practice what is your score in listening ... if you score 32-34 your score will be 7.5 and if you score 35 .. your band score will be 8.
So are you missing 8 by just one wrong answer or are you scoring 32 ...
If you're getting lost then it is concentration issue. You need to work on that or watch more English news / TV series just to get used to the accent.
And, you really need to utilize the little time you get to read the questions before the audio starts.
