Any Good and cheaper Public College for Digital media 2 years diplomas?

Hi Rockers... Thanks for your comment and you help me lot regarding my ielts point and visa and all... but i have so many live examples in front of me.. so many of my college mates and seniors are in sheradian college and its college and they took advance diploma education from there... and they are in canada they are there....... and I was talking to him 2 days back......

If the visa for colleges got cancel no one will get admission there.... i think your this comment did not have a strong background.....!!

I was myself did't understand even the diploma was not post graduarte it was an advance diploma.. but if u see the course contents there are so many things which market is demanding and my friend told me that sheradian is one of the best colleges in the world for animation.. and he also told me that students over there are with overall 5.5.....!! because they are post secondry.....

What I feel like its all about luck.. if u make visa officer satisfied nothing is impossible.....

you tell me if i got 7 bands in my ielts but my GPA does not match with university GPA as it is less then 3.... so for me better go for advance diplomas which gives you hand on technical skills.........!!! and they require 6 bands...!!

Nbcc.ca go on that website and have a look. Ther is also Yukon college fees also very reasonable. Have a look at those two and tell me wat you think

First of all, I am not an expert neither do I work for Canadian Embassy nor I'm a relative of a visa officer. However, most recent applicants who were refused had been college applicants. They are now taking admissions at universities and reapplying again. Those who have been waiting for medical calls over two months or so have been college applicants as well. See the pattern here. It was a different scenario last year maybe it has been changed from the current year. Who knows.
As I said earlier, final choice is upto you. No one is forcing you to either sit for IELTS again or go for a college over a university instead. There is a different criteria of judging things from country to country. It might be different for Indian students but not so much for Pakistani students. etc
Go ahead with whatever you have decided and no one is stopping you. Good luck.

Thanks CODXXA..... i think NBCC.Ca is fine.. but they are offering graphic and animation not purely digital and web design..... but fees is really half and this college is participating in post graduate work permit also!!!

Ok But did you get your study visa????? Why they asking for Insurance??? College is in the list of canadian immigration right?? which are part opf post graduate work permit??

I also see new brunswick college of craft and design.... it has the same fee structure..... and the course which i was looking for is there 2 years diploma in integrated media....


Can you tell me what was your previous education.. i heared that visa officer reject visa if ur previous education is higher then u intent to study..... though i found this diploma more usefull and lot of latest contents... then even what i study in my graduation and other things my GPA was low so instead of applying for masters which is more theory based and i was never much good in theories so better to opt diploma course which give you practicle experience....


But do let me know your profile and what about the study visa you already apply?? or you get the visa?? people here are saying visa officer is rejecting college visas??

Hi Nadeem you wat its not true that they reject college applicants. If you go cic website u will a lot of colleges listed on their Student Partner Program{spp} why wld they list there colleges and then reject applicants. Visa is rejected if we don't submit proper papers. Colleges require to pay a fee for reserving a seat and everyone shld have medical insurance the 700$ will be deducted from your fees

Its not true guys if you apply to a college as long as u satisfy VO THAT 1. You have enough money to cover all your expenses while studyin in canada
2. You will leave canada at the end of your studies ie establish home ties.
The VO MAIN concern is your bank statement. Guys u should also check out happyschoolsblog.com its a very useful web site but its mainly for F1 VISA TO USA. There are plenty of tips on how to answer some visa interview questions etc. Bottom line is CANADA needs us more than we need it and selection process starts at the embassy, so make sure your file is well prepared whether u going to college or not.

Thanks Codxx for your reply.. and I was also thinking that CIC give the list of these colleges as participating Institutes then why they will reject the application if that is so there must be no International students and canada govt should not give authority to these colleges acceting international student because without visa no international student can reach there!!
