Pre-Assessed..
What I am able to find so far is that handwritten passports expire on Nov 24th 2015.
bangladesh consulate's webpage says this too.
quote 'All Bangladesh citizens, are encouraged to apply for Machine Readable Passport (MRP) and requested not to apply for hand-written passports as this type of passports will not remain valid for travel after November 24, 2015 as per the decision of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)".
why dont you call them or call CIC callcenter and ask them??

and this

Identification requirements for international visitors
The Government of Canada requires that all travellers carry a valid passport because it is the only reliable and universally-accepted travel and identification document for the purpose of international travel.

When you enter Canada, a border services officer may ask to see your passport and a valid visa (if you are arriving from a country for which one is required). Visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website to find out what travel documents you need to come to Canada. We remind all travellers you must carry proof of citizenship such as a birth certificate, a certificate of citizenship or naturalization or a Certificate of Indian Status along with photo identification.

I same national too
I have same old passport too
What I understand if you are inland then you can land Cic office or border
So MRP not necessary if you grand DM by this passport then it is ok
Also your passport valid till 2017 which is good

Another thing is they may can put visa in old passport but before you land make new passport

Because there is a law by CBS expeire passport also can contain valid visa
