Any Australian accounting professionals recently landed Canada ??

Hi Guys,

Are there any accounting professionals that have settled in Canada recently ?

We would appreciate if you can help us & shed some light what needs to be done before we arrive or right after we have landed in order to enter the job market.

People migrating from Asia are facing much trouble to upgrade their education. Whats with the Australian accounting degree out there?

Are we also required to swoop into some course?

you opinions worth alot for upcoming migrants.

Kind of depends if you are non-white with an Australian degree or white with an Australian degree

Well, I am not Australian btw I just acquired an Australian Accounting degree. Originally I am from Pakistan. I can see you are from Pakistan too. Would you mind elaborating something about your experience? how did you dealt with this?

Everyone has their own experiences - mine are probably different than newtone's.

I got a job in Canada before moving here permanently. At no point in my professional experience have I felt color to be an issue. My degrees are from the US. In the profession of engineering, I haven't seen too many color-barriers in landing initial jobs, which are not necessarily entry level.
