Hi PMM,
On the sponsored spouse/partner questionnaire it asks if the applicant has ever lived together with their spouse. I am canadian and living permanently in Canada. When I cross the border to visit my wife, I tell the border I am visiting, because that is what I am doing. I do not have legal authorization such as a visa to "live" in the USA. So legally I have never lived with her. But with that said, I have been staying with my wife, in her apartment all summer long, only making day trips back to canada every two weeks or so as needed. So in my terms, I have been living with her.
So what do we say? Am I living with her, or am I just making a long visit? Or is it both?
Thanks so much!
