ANIP NACIS query

Hi all , I have an eligible tech occupation ,but the employer's primary NACIS is construction. Am I eligible for accelerated tech pathway ?

If not what stream can I apply (in PGWP ,no LIMA required )

Please advise

There is the list of eligible employers. Tech pathway has been closed so calculate EOI and look as draw scores.

Where did you study? What is your CRS score?

Hi I graduated from Novascotia. CRS 338 (I just created account today , havent added spouse scores ). My only option is PNP. I have worked in Alberta for 6+ months as Data Engineer. EOI is 61. If tech path is closed, What stream shall I choose in Worker Interest Page ? (There is a dropdown asking to choose stream)

If you are on PGWP, then not eligible for AOS. EE is your only option. Wait if tech pathway reopens. Alberta has moved to selecting those with NOC, CRS score and EOI scores high enough. Currently over 2000 applications in the tech pathway for a few hundred spots. Look at EOI Section.

Alberta Express Entry Stream Accelerated Techpathway is the only option seem to suit me. Can Ichoose it even though my employer NACIS is not on the eligible list

You are not eligible for tech pathway if employer’s code is not listed. You can select it but it will be refused if you get invited.

Is it possible to choose Priority sector ? Construction material production is my sector but I work in IT.

If thats not possible, If i get a new job in an Techcompany , would i need 6months with new employer or my current experience is enough for PNP eligiblity

What is your NOC? Need a construction NOC job, not IT.

At the time your application is submitted and assessed:

• your primary occupation in your Express Entry profile must be an eligible agriculture or construction occupation
• if you are invited based on having an Alberta job offer, your job offer occupation must be an eligible agriculture or construction occupation

Read the IT pathway job offer requirements. Employer has to be eligible and willing to support your nomination.

Yes, and also realize there are over 2000 applicants in the tech pool for only a quarter of the slots.
