Anger relief post (Not seeking for any information).

Hi,

This post is not for asking any information. It's just my frustration coming out and don't know how to express. Therefore chose to write. I applied on August 17th, 2015 and still waiting (as usual). Called CIC and there call center representative are bunch of morons (as always). They gives me the same information which I already know. I calculated the time line of 120 days and thought that for the worst case scenarios I will get it by January first week, 2016. According to that I decided to go home because my marriage date is fixed on January 30th. Now that I didn't get the decision yet, now I have nothing to do. I have to go because that girl s more important to me than Canada. This is the country where a dog has its own insurance and we international student after finishing school doesn't have a health insurance. You need a full time job offer. What a joke. Anyways, this is just one example out of hundred. They thinks giving shelter to refugee is more important. What about the refugee (international student) inside their country? What did we do wrong? Came to your country for studies. Paid each and every penny. Everything we do perfectly. And then this drama they do with us for a work permit. Decided to leave without anything. I don't care anymore. PGWP and it's all bullshit.

I understand you. I can't count how many times I felt the same way. And I'm waiting for the decision too, things are slowly but surely getting screwed for me as well. But after all it is all about priorities. And you are right, sometimes you have to think what's more important. There's no doubt CIC doesn't care about your life. But you should care about your life and make some choices and decisions... And the refugees - well, it's all politics and good image, I believe. Has nothing to do with us. I wish you luck, hopefully what you're waiting for will come last moment...

i can understand your emotions, because i was in the same situation as you, i dint apply online i just flagpoled and applied for workpermit at the border, got it in my hand, 5 hours drive to the border and half an hour wait for the processing in the border and got it in my hands, Even you can try now doing flagpole. it might work out for you.
