Anaylsis behind getting faster AOR in recent days..

Hello,

I see on the forum that couple of members getting their AOR withing few weeks after applying for PR under CEC. What I have observe about all of them is common that who ever got so quick AOR has applied after SEP -11. Who has applied before that are still waiting for AOR.

Please add your observation and also add those cases who got the AOR withing 1 month even.

damn it, i should've applied after sep 11 then ...... so you mean whoever applied after spe'11 already got their AOR? are you serious?

Yes the process has been changed seems like and much faster for CEC category.

Recently lot of applicant have received their Passport requests, AOR and Medicals

I am August applicant and got AOR and medical already....

I have a barcode app and while I'm seeing people on trackitt getting their AORs in 2 weeks (medicals in 3 weeks), I still haven't gotten mine. I sent mine in on the 7th of Sept and it got there on the 9th of Sept (Friday). So I'm counting days starting the 12th of Sept. (Monday) and still no word for me.

On the other hand someone else who sent it on the 7th, got their AOR on the 16th and medical request on the 27th of Sept.

It's really frustrating, but maybe I'm jumping the gun. Anybody feel the same way?

I have applied on 25AUG11. But still wating for AOR.

Could you please tell me when did you apply in AUG ? , exact date so i can figure out..how this all works ?

I had applied August 17th, and for the email regarding when they received the application and the UCI and application number September 16 along with a letter asking me to take a medical exam. I was surprised I got it that quick.

I am still yet to submit the police clearance certificate, should I deposit the remaining fees now with the police clearance now to wait for them to ask it.

Here is my timeline. It seems they are working overtime on CEC.

Application sent - June 25,2011
aor - June 28, 2011
med req - Sep 12, 2011
med done - Sep 27, 2011

I was a student. I am on a PGWP and have been working for 2 yrs

Guessing from what I have heard...it takes around 45 to 60 days to get PRR after the medical reports have been submitted. My doc will send reports around 6th Sept so hopefull I should be done by end of the year!!!

No I have not provided it yet, was I suppose to send it with the application I thought I had to send it when they requested it since it never mentioned on the forms?

should I pay the remaining fees now?

For sure there seems to be a pace in the process' starting phase but I guess the reason behind having medicals earlry phases is a step towards cutting the extra 2-3 months time which CIC used to take after the processing/bacground checks phases. Now, may be, they want to have these 2 things running in parallel. So by the end of the Processing/Background Check cycle they shall also be having the Medical results for the applicants in hand. IT would entail into quick response for announcing the final verdict on your application..... Again, this is just my personal opinion, just a thought, but open for discussion.....
