I am on a study permit/visa in the UK and about starting a programme in a UK university at the moment but want to move to Canada for a Master's programme. I have been offered a place on a programme at York University in Canada and I am interested in doing the course. Has anyone done this before or could anyone share his/her experiences about this issue. What are my chances of getting a study visa at the Canadian High Commission in London? Pls note that I am on a student visa in the UK and not a permanent resident or a citizen. I will appreciate if anyone could offer any advice or suggestions. Besides, I don't subscribe to my returning to my home country to apply as it takes a much longer time for my application for a study permit to be processed. The programme start date is Jan 2015.
