an alarming news for the muslim applicants-true or false?

Hi all brothers and sisters.

Yesterday I heard an alarming news.May be It was a rumor.One of my senior had received passport with visa stamped.He informed me that very recently Canadian Immigration process has become harder for the Muslim applicants .They even hold their application and made the process slower.They want to reduce the flow of Muslim immigrant coming to Canada.Is that true?Does anyone has any official news of its authenticity? What about us those are waiting for medical request? Does this rule apply to new applicants or even for us who are almost at the end of this tiring process?

Dear Friends...Don't get disheartened and worried by all these rumors...just believe in God, the only thing to be considered here is your Qualifications, and processing of your applications will be done according to the CIC criteria only. If your Documents are authentic and Qualifications upto the mark, then I don't feel theirs anything to feel worried about.So believe in the Canadian Immigration process and be optimistic.

They only check a bit more abt the background part if the applicant is a Muslim due to terrorism. But a Muslim cannot be denied a Visa because of his faith.
If such was the case they would have put up a criteria that CANADA ONLY FOR CHRISTIANS.
I have come across many travel agents in Mumbai advertising for jobs vacancies for Saudi. They put it clearly only Muslim/christian candidates can apply. In short Hindus not required.
If the scenario was the same they would have deported scores of Muslims from Canada.
Unlike the Saudi govt policy where u cannot practice any other religion since my BIBLE was torn into pieces at Dhahran Airport , Canada is open to all irrespective of his religion. There are many mosques also built for the Muslim congregation.

I second the views, Canada laws do not allow discrimination on basis of faith, even in UK asylum is given to religious refugees of all faiths.

Being a muslim I do beleive it can be true to some extent. Muslims have been facing many many problems since 9/11, a fake operation by CIA to to get the excuse to attack Afghanistan. Tim Osman (Osama Bin Laden) a CIA agent has done his best to ruin the image of Islam and provided a fake cause for USA to attack Afghanistan. G.Bush used a similar fake "Weapons of mass destruction" threat before to attack Iraq but nothing was found.


Latest is the CIA agent "Raymond Davis" got arrested in Lahore and he admitted his plans were to deliver nuclear / chemical weapons to Al-qaida then to plan a fake attack on USA to get the valid excuse to attack Pakistan.

Canada is renowned for its multiculturalism and very much doubt an applicant's religion, or lack of religion, would have any bearing on the decision to grant a visa.

However, one thing which may slow an application is if your visa office is not in your country of origin, for example at offices like London. For some applicants such as non-UK applicants at London office, things may be slower - not because of any religious bearing but because London have to do security checks and background checks outside of the country.

Personally I am am agnostic/aetheist so I don't really have any faith upon which they can base any discrimination. However I respect the faith of other applicants and I would be upset to hear that CIC are unfairly discriminating against them for it.

I dont think can be true anyways. I know some muslim canadians working with me and they all says its a safe country for all relious guys.

This is a false message and I hope none else post such roumers which can hurt many people waiting for their PR's.

Canada has no problem with Muslim immigrants but America has. Americans already told Canada that they will impose a visa policy for Canadian citizens because they have a fear that terrorists can attack on America by using Canadian border.

There is no doubt that Canada has a pressure to change their immigration policy and make it more secure and safe.

BUT THE PROBLEM IS THIS, THEIR MIGRATION POLICY COULD NOT BE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT MUSLIMS!!

Canada's skyrocketing immigration is creating new security challenges that should prompt the nation to consider more direct steps to try to weed out those who may bring radical Islamist ideology with them, an intelligence expert testified Thursday.
David B. Harris, former Canadian Security Intelligence Service chief of strategic planning, told a Senate committee in Ottawa that the rate of immigration – 250,000 people per year – is creating more enclaves in the country, diluting the normal pattern in which "a newcomer's radical tendencies might more readily have been overwhelmed by Canada's ambient liberal-pluralist atmosphere."
Canada's population grew from 29 million people to 34 million people in just over a decade. Many of them come from Muslim majority countries that have extremist movements. In many cases, those immigrants may have been escaping from that radical ideology. But others might be importing it.
As an example, Harris noted 20,000 new permanent residents from Egypt, where a recent Pew poll found overwhelming support for Islamic law tenets such as the death penalty for adultery and for converts from Islam, and 20 percent support for al-Qaida.
"Does extremism travel well?" asked Harris, who now directs the International and Terrorist Intelligence Program for INSIGNIS Strategic Research. "A 2007 Environics poll says 12 percent of Canadian Muslims could justify a Toronto-18 type plot calling for mass-casualty attacks in Canada, including invading Parliament and beheading the prime minister. That means that between 49,000 and 119,000 Canadians could justify making war on fellow Canadians."
That isn't helped by two organized Islamist groups in Canada: the Muslim Association of Canada, which openly declares allegiance to Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna, and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)-Canada, which Harris said is "known for its divisive, poorly documented insistence that Muslims are subject to broad-ranging persecution in Canada."

WHY???

Because the Canadians are looking for young tax payers, to support their health system. The population of Canada is getting older, and according to their health plan these old people will not contribute anything towards tax or economic growth. They will consume a huge amount on their health and social security etc.. I was reading somewhere they need young immigrants with kids to support and secure their future plans.

Thats why they cant avoid Muslim immigration Mostly one Muslim family has 4 to 6 kids. This number of kids is very rare in other religions and communities. (I am not sure, that's what I think I have no research on it)

If I got the Visa I will take 4 kids along with me, they are all grown up and in three years time they will start contributing towards the tax and economy of Canada!!
