Amman Office- Jordan is not processing QSW files !

Hello, everybody,

I applied to the Quebec skilled worker program in 2010 at BIQ Damascus and received my CSQ in May 2010. Applied to the federal embassy in Damascus and my file was opened there in August 2010.
Since the embassy in Damascus has closed in early 2012, the active files have been transferred to Amman. It's been almost 3 years and the status of my application is " in process"....
Anybody is in my case, or similar? the Amman visa office seems not to have any file processed since 2012.... waiting has been too long...

Its not only QSW, seems that they are not processing any immigration files (may be exception is spousal), they seem to be overwhelmed with temp visa applications as they are responsible for all visas from Jordan, Syria, Iraq and west bank, while their office in Amman is too small to deal with this number of applications. But just couple of weeks ago they moved to a new location, so hopefully they will have more resources now and can start processing all these immigration files.

I just got an email from the canadian embassy in Amman, they sent me the AOR

from an email address Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca

First i give u a in a glance my situation

CSQ received July 2010
PR file received and open at canadian embassy in Damas in August 2010 with an application number.
File transferred to Amman in early 2010


Does the below AOR mean that that the Amman office has finally opened my file and started processing it, after it's been sitting there for more than a year and a half?!!!

Anybody recevied the same email from Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca ?
