American looking for work

Hello all,
i was looking for some help regarding employment for my American girlfriend.
I have done all the reading and understand the LMO situation for an american trying to work in Canada. I had a friend try to move to Whistler for a season last year. She was offered lots of jobs but once she told the prospective employer that she was American, there was aparently too much paperwork and hassle for it to be worth the companies while.
I would love to know the best way for an American to find a job in Whistler.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you are in Ontario or more specifically the Greater Toronto Area, better move out of that Province or the Toronto Area...Too much of hate towards anything that is even remotely connected to the US...You will find that outside of Ontario, the people are nice and open minded, rarely prejudiced and quite helpful.
