Amendment to COPR taking too long

I did my landing way back in December of 2013, but as my luck would have it, the officer forgot to fill the the port of entry and landing date fields on the COPR, so I had to send a request for amendment back in May.

I was told I would get it back by November, but here we are in January and I still haven't received an amended COPR. The call center weren't particularly helpful.

Has anyone else had to wait 7-8 months for the COPR amendment?

Hi,
the amendment process is very long and takes 6+ months. It's nothing unusual to wait 7-8 months. That's why it is big advantage for those landing in CIC office where the amendment can be done on the spot.
