Hello,

I have been Permanent residence since June 2007 and planning to apply for the citizenship. I migrated from Sri Lanka with my family using Skilled migration program.

I have been working as an IT professional last 6+ years in Canadian companies and I have honors Diploma (2 years program), Higher diploma from British computer society and other various IT related diplomas (one from Seneca college). I did not write IELTS or TOEFL exam for my skill migration ; however the Canadian embassy in Sri Lanak, gave me an hour English test when I was having Interview for skill migration visa.

Since I am working as an IT professional and having various diplomas (all are in English medium), am I still need to write CELPIP exam to acknowledge my English knowledge? Please shed some light on this.

(I have posted another question on this forum for different issue)

Thank you,

Raj

Thank you,

If your diploma is from a Canadian public college, you won't need one.
